Ed Lantzer's Wood Mosaic Murals - My Father's Love
Donna McDougall -Treasurer

After vacationing in northern Michigan for many years, Donna moved with her husband and two children from the Detroit area to Burt Lake in Cheboygan County. Upon settling in and completing their new home, she began a new career very different from the steel company where she had worked for 14 years in Accounting and Human Resource management. At Crooked Tree Arts Center she found a new love in the arts as business manager until 2009. New Donna is part of Northern Michigan Regional Hospital in Petoskey and is also the Burt Township clerk, having been elected in 2008. Donna met Ed through Dale Hull and John Myers and volunteers as a docent in the gallery whenever she can.

These pieces of wood are the building block's of Ed's work.

Carefully crafting each mural, Ed does not do any design work ahead of time. He doesn't sketch, he simply creates.
